Exchange Rates in Oracle

Oracle E-Business Suite uses a single set of currency exchange rates throughout the applications that make up the suite. Rates are loaded into Oracle General Ledger manually or via interfaces provided for the purpose.

If you have transactions in more than one currency, then you need to load exchange rates.

This product provides a fully automated interface for loading daily exchange rates into Oracle E-Business Suite.

Exchange rates are sourced from OANDA, the web-based global leader in currency conversion tools.

This interface ensures the rates are always available when users need to enter transactions and guards against incorrect entry of rates which can adversely affect your financial data.

There are also additional functions to create period rates from your daily rates and to publish the rates to an intranet page for use within your organisation.
